Villa Italiana - Mansfield TX

Villa Italiana on Urbanspoon

If you like to have a pizza night with your family...or a night out to eat with your family....this is a great place to go and very affordable even for a family of 4! They are currently running a special - $18.99 for a large pizza and 4 small spaghetti's. That's A LOT of food for $20.00!

This is the first time I have ever tried this place and it was delicious! Great deal and great food! They use good ingredients...and the pasta was cooked perfectly (which can be hard to find in resteraunts) I love being able to have a night out (or in) with my family and it not breaking my pocket book!

If you live in the Mansfield, TX area or close by....go check it out:-)

New Facial Cleanser

So...I have always used the more pricey facial cleanser...you get what you pay for right? Well....after doing some research...that isn't always true:-)

I found that the Cetaphil face cleanser and daily SPF face lotion is very affordable and rated one of the best cleansers out there. It was created my dermatologist and is very gentle on the skin...unlike a lot of other products:-)

I started using it last night...and my face feels great so far. I think it might be time for me to say goodbye to Mary Kay and Clinique....can't afford that stuff anymore:-(

If you are looking for something new...and affordable...try it!

Burned - by Ellen Hopkins

Burned:

It's amazing that the second time you read something it seems so different. I read this book a while back...it didn't interest me at all and I never finished it. I picked it back up last week and can't put it down.

The last time I tried to read it I had just finished her books, Glass and Crank. They are both very intense and about drug addiction. I think trying to read this one after those two was a mistake. It's not as intense...and didn't "get" me like the others did....but now that I have waited...and am at a different place in my life I am really enjoying this book.

Synopsis:
It all started with a dream. Nothing exceptional, just a typical fantasy about a boy, the kind of dream that most teen girls experience. But Pattyn Von Stratten is not like most teen girls. Raised in a religious - yet abusive - family, a simple dream may not be exactly a sin, but it could be the first step toward hell and eternal damnation. This dream is a first step for Pattyn. But is it to hell or to a better life? For the first time Pattyn starts asking questions. Questions seemingly without answers - about God, a woman's role, sex, love -- mostly love. What is it? Where is it? Will she ever experience it? Is she deserving of it?
