My Hospital Visit

Mom and I get to the hospital around 10am. The surgery wasn't scheduled until 1:30...but you know how that goes...you have all kinds of stuff to do for prep. They took me back to the pre-op room around 12:30....asked me 100 questions, goy my IV going and asked if I was ready? I told them I was as ready as I was going to be . The meds started kicking in and the last thing I remember is going into the ER...there were tons of people in there and they were playing music...then I was out:-0

I woke up in recovery and the nurse told me where I was and asked how I was feeling....it took me a few minutes to come to. When I did they wheeled me to ky room where my Mom, Step-Dad and my son where waiting for me. I was happy to see them:-)

The nurse really javked up my IV...It was bleeding and my hang was all swollin...I had throw a fit to convince them to give me another IV. After sticking me 100 times in my left arm they finally got it right UGH!!

My favorite part of the whole thing was the Morphine drip...oh yeah....wasn't in much pain while I was there. The only part that was tough was getting up and down:-(

I had to stay in the hospital until Sunday. My family and friends spent as much time with me as they could. This was me after surgery:-) Lookin good I know...what can I say>>

They sent me home on Sunday with all kinds of meds...but nothing like the morphine drip...so I am in a little pain but I guess that's just part of the healing process. I can't wait to get well and have a normal back again:-) Looking forward to getting back into shape and getting more into my photography, blogging, cooking and scrapbooking!!!!
